Community Liaison
Responsible to: Business Development & Community Partnerships Director
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $33.18 - 49.76, bonus eligible
Job Summary:
The Liaison is responsible for organizing and implementing all aspects of the home care sales & marketing program. Establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources and customers, cold call on medical offices and potential referral partners, develop and maintain a database of customers. Work cross-functionally with admissions and marketing teams. This position must emulate the mission and core values of Cascade Health and promote health services that make life better at home, at work, and in the community. Partner with the business development team and clinical teams to further the mission of Cascade Health.
Education & License Requirements:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred. Demonstrated past work experience with hospice, home care, senior services, or gerontology will be considered in lieu of education.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of one year of experience in healthcare sales, public relations, and marketing, preferably with knowledge of the aging population’s health needs and services. Must have a current driver’s license and a licensed vehicle for transportation. Desired skills include: Must demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and public relations skills. Must be able to market aggressively in an ethical manner and deal tactfully with community members. Able to develop strong relationships and possess a competitive spirit. Demonstrates autonomy, organization, efficient time and territory management, professional assertiveness, flexibility, and the ability to work as a member of a team.
Essential Job Functions:
Organize all sales and promotional activities including establishing and implementing initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.
Conduct continuous market assessments and provide recommendations for strategic planning which includes identifying opportunities for additional or improved services within Cascade Health.
Facilitate communication and work effectively with and between Cascade Health staff, volunteers, patients, families, caregivers, physicians, vendors, referral sources, and other departments and individuals as appropriate.
Represent Cascade Health in a consistent, professional manner with interactions of integrity toward all internal, external, current, and potential individuals who could benefit from our services.
Build and monitor community and local market perceptions of Cascade Health as a high quality provider of end-of-life services.
Assist and participate in the provision of community and professional educational outreach activities.
Maintain confidentiality of health and business information.
Operate a motor vehicle in a safe manner.
Participate in department and organization-wide meetings and in-service training sessions, as required.
Comply with applicable regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.
