At Cascade Health, we work as a team and play as a team.

We’re thrilled to have you with us! Check out some recent moments of fun brought to staff by our Employee Experience Committee.

Baby goats are in the building

There's nothing quite like a soft, cuddly baby goat to bring smiles to your day!

Our Suzanne Way conference room was transformed into a petting zoo with three special guests thanks to Wendy Crabtree, Hospice RN. Dozens of staff took a break to enjoy a little goat therapy.

We’re sensing a theme, because the Pete Moore Hospice House is also “kid-friendly.” Patients and staff alike are regularly delighted by visits from goats Tinkerbell and Pippi Longstocking, who belong to hospice house manager Alicia Peacor.

Play ball!

We had a great time watching the Ems defeat the Tri-City Dust Devils at PK Park. It was a perfect evening to hang out with coworkers and family, eat ice cream from little plastic hats, and get a high-five from Sluggo.

“Our family had an amazing time at the ball park,” says counselor Sarah Cordua. “We are very much looking forward to more days like this and deeply appreciate the connections we have made at Cascade!”

Calling all bookworms

If you love to read, this one's for you: Welcome to the Cascade Health Shared Library, in the second-floor Willamette Wellness Space. It’s a cozy corner for book lovers and curious minds alike. Share a cherished book, pick out a soon-to-be favorite, then scan the QR code inside the cover to offer your thoughts. Whether you’re looking for inspiration, entertainment or a moment of calm, our library has something for everyone.

Chili and costumes

The first-ever Cascade Health Chili Cookoff a spicy success! Held on Halloween (no, those aren’t our normal outfits), the cookoff featured ten chili entries from our chef coworkers. When the votes were tallied, the 2024 Chili Champion trophy went to Leslie & Travis Hoffman from our Physical Therapy department.
