International Travel Immunization Clinic

Occupational Health

Overview

Travel is a lot of fun and a great way to increase your appreciation of our world, but there can be risks associated with traveling and living in international locations.

The Travel Clinic offers full travelers'  healthcare including: travel assessment, travel immunizations, prescription medications for malaria prevention, altitude sickness and treatment of travelers'  diarrhea, and other travel related conditions.

Before your trip

Before going abroad a travel assessment will help you prepare for health risks on your trip. During the assessment, the travel clinic nurse provides information and emphasizes the best ways to prevent travel-related illnesses. A travel assessment is required to receive travel immunizations.

There is a $60 consultation fee when you first visit the Travel Clinic.  Groups of 2 or more going to the same location will be charged $35 each for the consultation.  Our Travel Clinic is open on Mondays, appointments can be made by calling (541) 228-3100 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Some immunizations must be taken in a series and will necessitate return visits. Please schedule early.

What to bring

Please bring the following to your appointment:

  • Records of previous immunizations
  • Detailed itinerary of your trip and dates of stays in each destination
