Blood Borne Pathogens Program Consulting and Training
We offer a complete program which includes On-site Blood Borne Pathogen Training for employees covered under CFR 1910.1030, the Blood Borne Pathogen Standard; in addition, our expert Occupational Health nurses consult with your business to develop or update a comprehensive Blood Borne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan for compliance with OSHA.
Hepatitis B Immunization Programs
We offer On-site hepatitis B vaccinations for busy employees covered under the Blood Borne Pathogen Standard. Occupational Health nurses will come on-site for all three vaccinations of the hepatitis B series. We track all follow-up immunizations and perform an immunity screen for hepatitis B at the conclusion of the series. Each individual receives a certificate of immunization upon completion of the series for compliance with OSHA.
Post-Exposure Evaluation and Follow-up
The OSHA Blood Borne Pathogen Standard requires that employers offer post-exposure evaluation and follow-up to any employee who has a blood/body fluid exposure while on the job. This comprehensive program includes individual counseling, treatment, confidential blood testing, follow-up notification and Source Testing.
Medical Surveillance Consulting and Testing Programs
Our experienced Occupational Health nurses will consult with employers to assure compliance on health and safety issues. Several new OSHA standards have placed increased pressure on employers to comply and keep records. We can assist your business in setting up compliance programs and maintaining necessary record keeping. For example, we could work with your company to develop a Respirator Program, covering all aspects from review of mandatory respirator questionnaires, exams and spirometery, fit testing and record keeping.
