Overview
Home Health services provide a broad range of in-home skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and social services for individuals who cannot easily leave their home. Medicare and most health insurance plans cover these services that focus on maximizing an individual's health and independence and decrease the likelihood of hospitalization.
Hospice care supports individuals and their families to obtain the care they desire at the end of life. The goal is to make the patient comfortable, pain-free, and provide emotional support in the patient's home. Hospice provides skilled nursing, assistance with personal care, social work, and variety of other professional services including medication and equipment coverage.
