Schedule: Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $26.38 - 39.57
Job Summary: The Physical Therapist functions as a member of the Home Care team, providing services in the patients' place of residence. All care is given in accordance with physician's orders. Evaluates patients, plans and implements effective therapeutic interventions based on physical assessment, sound judgment, and psychological sensitivity. Understands the hospice philosophy and provides treatment to dying patients. Utilizes current standards of practice and follows departmental policies and procedures. Complies with applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements governing the practice of physical therapy. Maintains a high level of professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth and development. When appropriate, the Licensed Physical Therapist provides supervision to PTA's and PT students assigned to the department. Participates in the orientation of new employees.

Job Summary: Primary responsibility is to function in outpatient orthopedic setting for busy occupational medicine clinic. Evaluate, treat, and instruct patients to assess, prevent, correct, alleviate, and limit the signs and symptoms of physical disability, bodily malfunction, and pain. Physical therapy includes:
1. The performance of tests and measurements as an aid to evaluation of function and the administration, evaluation, and modification of treatment and instruction, including the use of physical measures, activities and devices, for preventative and therapeutic purposes.
2. The provision of consultative, educational, and other advisory services for the purpose of reducing the incidence and severity of physical disability, bodily malfunction, and pain.
