Communicating Difficult Messages

Effective supervision requires conveying difficult messages.  Examples include decisions that negatively affect employability, promotion, corrective action or feedback regarding poor job performance.  Supervisors often do not look forward to conveying these messages, which is understandable.  This training will present constructive methods to convey difficult information, including suggested language that minimizes embarrassment and conflict.
