Anger is a powerful emotion that we all experience at times. Anger can be useful when
it leads to overcoming obstacles and achieving goals. When we effectively manage anger,
we stay healthier, and feel better about ourselves and others.
This workshop will focus on helping participants to identify triggers to anger, the impact
of anger, and ways to manage anger productively. Anger management techniques will
include: self-soothing behaviors, calming techniques, addressing negative thinking, and
assertive communication. The result of using these strategies include better health and
more satisfying relationships. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their
own individual anger management plan.
