What is Organizational Development?
Organizational Development is a research-based approach to the study of the human systems in organizations.
An organization?s performance and culture are shaped by forces within as well as external factors and pressures. Technical and interpersonal skill, organizational structure, strategies, and agreements impact personnel and stakeholders.
We take a strengths-based approach in working with organizations. That is, we seek to discover successes and capabilities from which to build upon as structures and processes are continuously improved and aligned to enhance effectiveness and success.
Our approach to optimizing organizational development is to support leaders and group members in developing strategies to enhance the ability of the people to fully engage in their work and work effectively and healthily together. This strategy applies to any type of organizational or interpersonal context where individuals are engaged in doing challenging, difficult things together.
