  • Learn ways to lower blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugars, and
  • Adopt eating habits to prevent diseases.

Current workshops we are offering include:

  • Diabetes Prevention - This workshop is intended for anyone who has been diagnosed with pre-diabetes, glucose intolerance, insulin resistance or metabilic syndrome.  It is designed to help you make important lifestyle changes in diet and exercise to prevent or delay the onset of diabetes and decrease your risk for cardiovascular disease.

  • Eating for a Health Heart - This workshop is intended for anyone with high cholesterol who wants to learn how to lower it through their food choices.  What you eat has a big effect on your body's cholesterol level.  Eating certain foods can raise your cholesterol; other foods can help you lower it.  Watching what you eat can help you get your cholesterol level under control.  Come to this workshop to learn more.
