Wellness Overview – Stress/Coping Skills - Popup

PWP popup stress

Stress is a fact of life, but if it becomes excessive and continual it can erode your health. Stress contributes to headaches, poor sleep, depression, decreased immunity, and even heart disease. The goal is not to eliminate all stress but to keep it within manageable limits. Break the stress cycle with relaxation and enjoyable physical activity. Talk over problems with a friend. Get your rest. Don’t skip meals. If needed, get help from a mental health counselor or use your company’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
