Weight Management

Excess body weight is one of the most common health problems facing individuals today. And the problem continues to grow – especially among children and teens. Excess body weight increases the risk for a number of health problems, including high blood pressure, high blood fats, coronary heart disease, diabetes, and many cancers. The good news is that losing even 10-15 pounds can significantly reduce many of these risks.

This section of the LifeChange Library™ can help you better understand the health risks involved with excess body weight and presents steps you can take to prevent weight gain or manage a weight problem.
