Stress – Major Life Events - Popup

One of the greatest stressors in life is dealing with major life events, such as: loss of job, loss of a loved one, divorce, a business failure, a natural disaster, a major family conflict, or having to cope with a serious illness. Major life events usually occur suddenly and often precipitate an emotional crisis. Recognize that coping with a major life event is going to take time. Get support from family and friends. Allow time to grieve and adjust. If needed, get help from your doctor or other professional person to help you recover.
